Window Treatment Projects

        From start to finish, your satisfaction is our highest priority. We’ll begin by setting an in home measuring and consultation appointment. You’ll be asked a short series of preliminary questions at that time, so we can determine an overview of your needs, and the decorating tastes you prefer.

        During our appointment you’ll view tangible samples so we can achieve the perfect custom window treatment for your home. Fabrics and linings will be chosen for drapery or top treatments. If you’ve decided instead, on blinds or shades, you’ll choose from a selection of those samples as well. Each of your windows will be professionally measured, then an estimate
will be provided for your consideration. We’ll discuss a time frame for completion of your project, and you will be kept up to date on its progress until installation.

        Fabrics for your home are never duplicated in other homes. Once The Window Place, Inc. has completed your project, the samples from fabrics we used are retired exclusively to you, ensuring your window treatments will be unique and special. We emphasize perfection, exceed expectations, and look forward to creating custom window treatments, bedding, and home decor products for your home.

Common Questions

Custom window treatments are made exclusively for you. Unlike going to the store or
purchasing online, and choosing from what the seller has available, your choices are practically
limitless from an array of fabrics in colors, prints, solids, and textures, embroidered,…you name
it. All materials are of the highest quality, and durable. Your window treatment is made in our
custom workroom. You won’t have to make do with the size offered, your fabric is ordered,
inspected, cut, then sewn according to the size you need, in a style and design you’ve selected
and desire.

Established as the first custom window treatment store in Mountain Home in 1972, The
Window Place, Inc. has the experience to create virtually any window treatment of any shape
or size. Your satisfaction is of utmost importance, and our service is second to none.

Several things set us apart from others. If you’d like to provide a fabric for your project, we can generally accommodate your request, provided you have the correct amount of yardage, and the fabric is suitable for the desired outcome. If you need to know the yardage amount on a fabric you are considering purchasing elsewhere, we can assist you with that.

The Window Place, Inc. is the area’s exclusive dealer of Flair21 fabrics. We offer their the full line machine washable interior decor fabrics. Also available is their Vertical Wrap, removable, washable over drapery for vertical blinds.

Repairs and restrings are done in house, by our experienced installer. Whether you’ve purchased the blind or shade at The Window Place, Inc. or else where, we encourage you to call us so we can determine the issue and assess if your window covering can be repaired.

Typically, blind and shades ordered from our vendors, take approximately 2-3 weeks for delivery. Upon arrival, your products are inspected. Then, we’ll call you to set up an installation time that is convenient for you. Custom workroom projects such as drapes, bedding, or top treatments, ordinarily take approximately 6 weeks from the date ordered. When you sign up for a project by The a Window Place, Inc., we’ll discuss a completion date, and always keep you informed about the progress of your items up to the day installation.
